Strengthening our communities

Project Bruce is bringing 2 workshops to Milton to help strengthen and support our Bruce community organisations and groups. Members and representatives of not-for-profits, clubs, societies, trusts etc are welcome to attend.

Funding applications and budgets

Wednesday 5 September, 5.30 - 7.30pm

Milton Elder Care Rooms, 185 Union St, Milton

A FREE and practical workshop for not-for-profit groups. The workshop is designed to increase confidence in writing successful funding applications and compiling basic budgets.

Light refreshments will be provided.

The workshop is delivered by Department of Internal Affairs Advisor Kim Beckett.

Not-for-profit governance and management

Wednesday 19 September, 5.30 - 8.30pm

Milton Elder Care Rooms, 185 Union St, Milton

A workshop focusing on the management, strategies and legal aspects of governance for trustees, executives and board members.

Light refreshments will be provided

This workshop is run by the Otago Chamber of Commerce, by  presenter Errol Millar.
